A native Californian raised in Los Angeles, Lori Hoffman attended Curtis School and Brentwood School, under Willard Badham (“Baddie”) as headmaster and co-founding member, respectively. After high school, Lori left the urban landscape of Los Angeles for the University of Oregon. There, she began undergraduate work in Landscape Architecture, later completing her education at Brooks Institute of Photography, with a BA in Commercial Photography under Ernest Brooks III, before launching a career in advertising and marketing.
After a successful 20 years of creating award-winning advertising for Fortune 500 and international clients, Lori discovered her genuine passion lay in real estate. Upon getting her real estate license in 2003, she developed a clientele based almost exclusively on referrals. During the real estate recession, she entered the UCLA-Cal Poly Interior-Architecture Masters Program, where her focus was on historical, architectural design and its integration with the needs of modern society. Completing the program with honors, Lori now assists her clients whenever needed with architectural and landscape design solutions for their homes.
To give back to the community, Lori has volunteered her time over the years at a variety of organizations throughout Santa Barbara. They include the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara, See International, Recording for the Blind, American Red Cross, Santa Barbara Historic Museum, Direct Relief International, Assistance League of Southern California, National Association of Women Business Owners, and more.
